Gus needs no introduction from us. This Guy must be one of the most versatile artists ever who out performs himself every time he appears. Gus can handle any song from any era and will have everyone singing and dancing within minutes of striking the first note. Come and kick off the festival with one of our favourite performers.

A Rock and Blues based band, these local and Cropredy boys are back together after a 15 year break and are on a mission to bring their music to the masses, delivering it with more enthusiasm, energy & passion than ever before. Meet the stunning voice of Gerry & the incredible musical talent from Drew, Renno, Rob and Brian as they open the Brasenose Fringe.

An amazingly versatile covers band with songs across the whole musical spectrum. Pete has appeared at the Brasenose many times as a solo artist with his famous "kick board" and is even better when backed by the incredible Welsh Boys. Born entertainers, you will not be able to sit still when these guys take the stage.

Probably the finest example of the new "Young Bloods" of the British Blues scene, bringing their progressive, rock driven blues with it's 60's influence, kicking and screaming into the millennium. Formed in '95 these guys work extensively throughout the UK & Europe and have fast become established as one of the most dynamic outfits around. They are in CONSTANT demand on the club and festival circuit and Yes - THEY ARE HERE AT THE BRASENOSE. Whatever you don't do - DON'T MISS THEM

A Birmingham based Rock and Blues band with a tinge of country. The majority of material is their own, interspersed with the odd classic from artists such as Bob Dylan. The band is fronted by the charismatic singer/song writer Adrian Styles, fellow band member Derek Wood having previously played with the Steve Gibbons band. Dan Wood and Phil Vickers complete the line-up. Alias have recorded two albums, "Trick of the Light" and "Breathless & Shaking".

A BIG Rhythm and Blues band, the first half being a five piece with the second half being a four piece brass section of Saxes, Trumpet and Trombone. With Jazz and soul additions, these Guys are up tempo, up beat and up there with the other professionals. You will be toe tapping and dancing to the last gorgeous note. They are fantastic. DO NOT MISS THEM!

A well known, local Rock covers band who will blow you away with their faithful, note for note perfect renditions of rock classics from the 50's up to the present day. Too many to mention them all but listen out for classics from Aerosmith, Ocean Colour Scene, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Foo Fighters, Paulo Nutini, Tom Petty, Thin Lizzy, Bad Company and The Who. (Whew!). They played here last year and were forced by the Crowd to encore - they were that good!

What needs to be said about these Boys? Nothin to prove, perennial festival favourites whether at the pubs or on the big stage. Spank continue to wow the crowds with their amazing ability. Plenty of their own material as well as classic covers, Spank are also regular performers at The Mill Theatre and enjoy an enviable position as the best loved local band. Don't miss them at The Brasenose

Anyone who hasn't heard "The Ats" must have had their head stuffed in a cloud. They have the biggest attitude and talent in the Folk Rock world and are regular performers at the Brasenose. The boys have recently launched their new album "Garden of Eden" which rivals the exceptional "Temporary Immortality" and continue to exude talent, confidence and sheer stage presence. And those vocals! Never miss a performance from them!

In our opinion and that of last years festival goers, the greatest Quo tribute band ever. Last years knockout lunchtime headliners at the festival itself, these guys were staggering and totally rocked Cropredy, through all eras of Quo music, note for note perfect. Any band who can get a crowd of 20,000 people rocking, is a must have band. If by chance you missed them last year at the field then DO NOT miss them again. Although normally only big festival performers they are headlining, only at THE BRASENOSE ARMS
