12pm Luke May Band: Luke May is a young, well established singer songwriter and multi instrumentalist from Oxfordshire. With over 250 gigs spanning most of England under his belt, he has created a fast growing following. He has more recently teamed up with his very own backing band. His material, although very individual has been likened to that of Ryan Adams and Jack Penate. With poetic lyrics and hooking choruses his sound is Country and Folk with a Modern and British twist. Luke will be playing with his new band, with special guests including Tom Leary on fiddle.
2pm Mama Rosin:
Mama Rosin live and love the Cajun/Zydeco music style, whose roots go way back to the 18th century. Somehow these 3 young Swiss rebels found the original soul of Louisiana on the banks of Lake Geneva, but trash it all with amped-up/echoed-up melodeon, guitar/banjo/rub-board and serious drumming. Forget any purist notions. Mama Rosin smash genre boundaries. It’s voodoo magic out of Zydeco/Cajun Creole music meshed with furious Rock’n’Roll, Velvet Underground meets Clash meets deep south.....and then some more! And this music is infectious, super-wild and incredibly groooovy!

plenty of nimble bottleneck slide work and deft arrangements.
